What User Management is used for

User Management allows administrators to:

  • Invite new users to Moterra

  • View and manage existing users

  • Assign or remove administrator rights

  • Remove users who no longer need access

This helps keep platform access simple and controlled.

User roles in Moterra

Moterra supports two user roles:

  • User
Can use assistants and agents, but cannot access the Admin Panel.

  • Admin
Has full access to the Admin Panel and can manage users, content, and settings.

  • Custom Agent Manager

Can create and manage custom AI agents and Knowledge Bases, but does not have full Admin Panel access to other platform settings.

Only Admins can create or modify platform-wide configurations.

Managing users over time

User Management supports changes in team structure.

Administrators can:

  • Add users as teams grow

  • Promote users to Admins when needed

  • Remove access when users leave the organization

Keeping the user list up to date helps maintain security.

User Management and Security

Limiting Admin access helps:

  • Prevent unintended configuration changes

  • Reduce the risk of misconfiguration

  • Ensure clear responsibility for administrative actions

Only users who need administrative control should be granted Admin access.
